using our products
All of our pure products are handmade in small batches to ensure optimum freshness & potency. For your long-term wellbeing, and to prevent skin irritation, we do not use a harsh chemical or toxic preservative system.
Where applicable, 'please use within x months of opening' advice will be listed on our products. We ask our customers to observe this timeframe to gain full benefit of each product. Our packaging size for each product has been selected to reflect normal usage rates.
- Please store our products in a cool, dark place ideally below 27°C.
- As our products are more concentrated than most, a little goes a long way. After a few uses, you will know how much your skin needs.
- Always wash and dry your hands before applying any of our products packaged in jars to prevent bacteria contaminating our fresh products. Alternatively, you can use a cosmetic spatula to apply creams.
- Our cleansing bars will last longer if they are kept dry in between use - preferably in a self-draining soap dish.
- As our products are free from chemicals, they are less likely to cause irritation. As with all new products however, a skin 'patch' test is recommended.
- A full list of ingredients is disclosed with all products. Please ensure you check the ingredient listing before application if you have allergies or sensitivities to certain ingredients.
- Pregnant women should consult their naturopath/doctor before applying any products which contain essential oils.
