Q: Why don't we stock our products in stores?
A: Our products are handmade in small batches to ensure optimum freshness and potency. The effectiveness of natural ingredients deteriorates over time.
As with fresh food, fresh is also best for your skin. Many of our products are made as they are ordered, which guarantees unsurpassed freshness and potency you simply cannot buy off the shelf.
Q: I have sensitive skin. Are PURE FUSION products suitable for me?
A: All of our products are meticulously formulated to contain no harsh or toxic chemicals, synthetic fragrances or colours and definitely no harsh preservatives. These additives in skin care are a major cause of skin irritation. Because we use only pure, natural ingredients, our products are less likely to irritate even the most sensitive skin. People experience varying degrees of sensitivity to various products, however, with some people being sensitive to even natural products.
We enclose a full ingredient list with each product and encourage our customers to read this list to ensure you have no sensitivities to any ingredients. As with all products, we recommend performing a 'patch test' on a small area of your skin, if using our products for the first time.
Q: I am already using 'natural' and/or 'organic' products. Why should I change brands?
A: Read the ingredient list on your current products. As more smart consumers are switching from mainstream skin care to natural options, marketing departments have adopted two favourite words - natural and organic. Unfortunately, the claims 'natural' or 'organic' often have little to do with the main ingredient component of many mainstream skin care products. A small amount of just one natural ingredient often labels the product 'natural'. This labelling is currently not strictly monitored or legislated. Mainstream products often contain nasty chemical preservatives and synthetic fragrances which cancel out any benefit of the natural ingredients anyway.
Q: How can I tell which skin care ingredients are considered toxic or unsafe for my long-term health?
A: Nearly every skin care/cosmetic ingredient can be checked on the 'Skin Deep' website www.cosmeticsdatabase.com Every ingredient and product is analysed and rated according to the safety of it's ingredients.
